Poi Sang Long

A unique element of Tai culture in Thailand is the annual Poi Sang Long festival that the Tai people of Mae Hong Son celebrate. In addition to Mae Hong Son, the Shan community in Chiang Mai gathers to observe this festival at Wat Pa Pao, the gathering place for  Shans in Chiang Mai.  This year Poi Sang Long will be observed during the first week of April.  We invite you to enjoy a couple of pictures from previous years:
